One way the facebook argument is different from real life is the use of a hyperlink in the comment to try and show her emotions through a youtube video. This is shown as the girl puts a comment with a hyperlink to a youtube video. This is done because conversations on the internet do not allow for facial communication or feelings to get across so she puts the video link to try and get her feelings know by using the song. The comment gets a reply which compares the song to the situation.

Another difference is the use of punctuation on the comments which isn't as obviously used in real life. In the comments the punctuation is easily readable and used obviously whilst in real life the punctuation isn't so obvious because people don't say the punctuation at the end of a sentence such as ask a question and then say question mark. The punctuation in real life is mostly just a pause or a word like 'errr' so punctuation is used on the internet to show when a pause would be taken or when something is shouted along with the use of capital letters

Another difference is the abbreviation or words and phrases such as when people say 'lol' they have abbreviated 'laugh out loud'. these are used to show feelings or shorten down longer posts. This shown in a comment which was posted which said 'lololololololol'. These are not used in real life as people just say the words or actually laugh instead of using abbreviations.
